LIEKKI manufactures high performance fibers, fiber components and subassemblies, and provides design software and engineering support, which meet the highest standards for quality, reliability and performance.
The proprietary Direct Nanoparticle Deposition (DND) technology enables LIEKKI to produce state-of-the-art, highly doped fibers that minimize required fiber length, have large core-to-clad ratios, and exhibit low photodarkening, flat refractive index profile, high efficiency and reduced nonlinear effects. The DND technology represents a paradigm change in the manufacturing of active fibers.
Our manufacturing process covers the complete fiber production, the manufacturing of assemblies and fiber substructures as well as a complete quality assurance. It is complemented by a strong, experienced team dedicated to exceed customer requirements. LIEKKI also manages a network of value adding material suppliers and subcontractors, who are subjected to our stringent quality specifications.
In addition our Quality Management System is certified according to the internationally valid standard ISO 9001:2000 since the 1st November 2001.
